A PRESENTATION OF FOUR VISIONS OF A FUTURE HIGH STREET
Bangor University and elop recently brought together twenty bight young minds from all over the world to explore possible answers to the question;
Our (Bangor) High Street is facing decline and we need to innovate. A strong step forward towards innovation can start with the question 'what if?'
The BID have been working alongside Gwynedd Council and a host of other partners over the last 12 months through a Strategic Partnership Group to develop capital investment proposals for regeneration to access funding from the recently announced £100 million Targeting Regeneration Investment fund.
Many of you will now have met the new BID Manager, Robin Williams who started in December 2017. Robin has spent the last few months understanding the role and visiting as many of the businesses as possible to introduce himself, to understand the levy payers concerns and to gather priorities/ideas going forward into the 2nd half of the BID period.
A lot of the work that Robin has been engaged in is often 'behind the scenes', extremely important, but not always visible to you the levy payers. This news letter hopes to give a little more information on the some of these exciting projects that he has been working on.
If you have any questions for Robin, he has a desk in the City Council Offices and can also be contacted on 07846098898 or via email at email@example.comRead More
The synthetic ice rink is back again this year, but only for the Sunday so get your skates on and book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please Note: all children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. Over the age of 10 and they must be “supervised” in other words, the parents must be present but don’t have to be on the rink with them.Read More
